•The Shawnee Community Support Team (CST) is an all-volunteer group associated with the Shawnee Emergency Management and Shawnee Fire Departments. Our mission is to prepare ourselves, our families and neighbors for disaster(s) or emergencies in our community by training in basic disaster response skills as citizen volunteers. We aim to engage with and prepare our community through community awareness events, by organizing citizen and team training programs and exercises, and by providing support to the Shawnee Fire Department when disaster strikes.
As part of our efforts, we offer presentations on how to prepare for, deal with and recover from disasters and other emergencies in our area.
