The Shawnee Chamber's Women Inspiring Women Affinity Group July meeting will again be at Eggtc. for breakfast at 8:00 A.M. and to hear from Clara Anderson Sainte, LCSW, LSCSW. She will be leading a discussion on "Maintaining Mental Health".
Ms. Anderson Sainte is the Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Programs for Gilda's Club of Kansas City, local cancer support nonprofit, where she develops and oversees the diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts of the organization and the educational and support programming. She is also a senior consultant, presenter, and workshop leader with the Encore Institute for Social Impact with a focus on equity and inclusion. Clara is trained as a Grief Recovery Specialist.
Clara serves many community organizations and is a board member of Kansas City Center for Inclusion: LGBTQIA+ community center; Chair-Elect of Children’s Mercy’s Equity and Diversity Council; Big Brothers Big Sisters DEI board member; Unite KC Nonprofit Domain member; and a healthcare instructor for Johnson County Community College. Clara previously served as a board member of Mental Health America of the Heartland.
Clara’s master’s degree in social work is from UMKC and she is an alumnus of Northwest Missouri State University. Clara will be leading a discussion on how we can maintain our mental health through self-care and the impact of the pandemic on all of us.
