Join the Shawnee Chamber, FLEX Young Professionals and Partners for an Earth Day event that will celebrate its 53rd anniversary. While the day known as Earth Day is celebrated each April 22nd, we know that each and every day is an opportunity to practice good stewardship of the planet that we have been entrusted with. Working with one of our Investor Guild members, WM, we will host a litter clean up event that includes a free lunch just for participating. See the important details below.
What: Participating members and their guests, will gather at the Pathlight Brewing parking lot and will receive further instruction, a pair of work gloves and trash bags for collection of material. As a group we will work on trash and litter collection in the parking lot and areas in the vicinity. We will collect trash and debris for one hour and then we'll return to the Pathlight Brewing patio for lunch.
When: Friday, April 21, 2023 - beginning at 10:45 - Noon.
Where: We'll meet at the Pathlight Brewing parking lot, 11200 W 75th St Shawnee, KS 66214.
What to bring: We suggest comfortable weather-appropriate clothing and close-toe shoes. We'll provide gloves and waste material bags. And of course...bring a SMILE!
