Backyard Chickens 101

Are you interested in starting your own coop? Join expert Vonnie Fisher at the historic 1920s chicken coop of Shawnee Town to discuss the basics of chicken behavior, feeding, coop needs, chicken health, and so much more! Participants will also be provided with information regarding the City of Shawnee’s backyard chicken ordinances.
Tickets for the class are $14.00 and space is limited – please visit the link below or call (913) 248–2360 to reserve your spot. Class begins promptly at 10:00 am at the chicken coop, so please check in early at the Shawnee Town Visitor Center at 11501 W 57th Street, Shawnee, KS 66203.
