DESCRIPTION:United Way of Greater Kansas City's Women United invite you to our annual Purses for Promise presented by Black & Veatch: a purse-based silent auction\, wine pull and networking social. Funds raised at this event will benefit Start at Zero   so start thinking about what designer purse you've been eyeing! Drinks and passed appetizers will be served while you listen to music\, meet new friends and browse 100+ designer handbags.\n\nThis event supports United Way's efforts in the area of early childhood development\, including our Impact 100 partner Start at Zero. Start at Zero's mission is to partner with parents and caregivers to promote healthy early childhood development. Its ultimate goal is to achieve comprehensive health\, education\, and development for children prenatal to age five and their families.
